The cool climate environs of the Great Southern wine region are well suited to the viticulture and vinification of premium sparkling wine. The fruit for this sparkling comprises of both chardonnay and pinot noir.
The wine is crafted in a refreshing style which brings focus to the vibrancy and natural acidity of the fruit. This is a dry and zesty wine which is an ideal apéritif style.
THE WINE
The wine is pale yellow and bright in colour, with a well-defined bead. The aromatics show refreshing citrus fragrance, with honey, white blossom and subtle pear notes. On the palate, flavours of tart Granny Smith apple and citrus are immediate, with a subtle nutty character and long, dry finish. The bead is lively and palate cleansing, making this an ideal wine to serve with fried appetisers or rich, light flavoured cheese.
